Meyrick Lodge

Brotherhood Across the Atlantic

Meyrick Lodge member Mark Gibbs recently visited Gulf Beach Lodge No. 291 in Madeira Beach, Florida — a lodge that has rebuilt itself from the ground up following devastating hurricane flooding, and is now thriving with three degree ceremonies this month alone.

A Word-Perfect Performance

Brother Jack took his second step on 2nd April in a ceremony marked by a word-perfect performance and the spirit of the Lodge, as brethren stepped in at the last minute to cover vacant offices and ensure the evening went without a hitch.

First Orders at The Knole

The Knole’s new bar is officially open, following two years of hard work from a dedicated team of volunteers — including Meyrick Lodge’s own Tony Drake. APGM Chris Lockwood cut the ribbon on a venue that is now better than ever.

A Ceremony to Remember

Brother Luke recently took his second step in a ceremony that drew well-deserved praise for the Lodge’s Deacons, whose outstanding work on the night reflected great credit on Meyrick Lodge.

A Wonderful Evening as Paul Hopkins Becomes Our New Worshipful Master

A wonderful evening at Meyrick Lodge as Paul Hopkins was installed as our new Worshipful Master. With an exemplary ceremony, special guests, and a heartfelt festive board, the night marked the start of Paul’s year supporting dementia nurses. A warm thank‑you to all who joined us for this memorable occasion.

A Memorable Close to a Memorable Season

Meyrick Lodge closed the Masonic year in fine style, celebrating a significant step forward for one of our brethren and reflecting on an outstanding year under the leadership of Worshipful Master Steve Dossett.

A Fantastic Night at Our Charity Ceilidh!

A lively Charity Ceilidh hosted by Worshipful Master Steve Dossett raised £1,043 for Elsie’s Rose. With music from Murphy’s Lore, a “Hoedown & Dirty” dress code, and a Chilli & Cheese feast, it was a memorable night of dancing, fun, and fundraising in support of bereaved families.
