Meyrick Lodge is thrilled to share some wonderful news about one of our respected brethren. Lodge Secretary WBro Ed Baker has been promoted by the Provincial Grand Master of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Hampshire & Isle of Wight to the distinguished rank of Past Provincial Grand Registrar.
This is a superb and well‑deserved honour that reflects Ed’s commitment, integrity, and long‑standing service to Freemasonry. His dedication to the Craft, both within Meyrick Lodge and across the Province, has always been exemplary, and we are proud to see his hard work and enthusiasm recognised at such a high level.
A Special Investiture Ahead
WBro Baker will be formally invested at the Annual Meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge, held in the iconic Grand Temple at Freemasons’ Hall, Great Queen Street, London, on Wednesday 1st July 2026. This historic setting provides a fitting stage for such a prestigious moment, and we know it will be an occasion he will remember for many years to come.
