Meyrick Lodge

After two years of dedicated effort, The Knole reached a significant milestone as its brand new bar was officially opened — and what an occasion it proved to be. The ribbon was cut by Assistant Provincial Grand Master Chris Lockwood, marking the culmination of a project that has required no small amount of patience, determination, and hard work from all involved.

Among those who gave so much to make it happen, Meyrick Lodge’s own Tony Drake deserves particular recognition. His contribution to the project has been considerable, and the Lodge is proud to count him among the volunteers who have given their time so generously.

A Venue Transformed

The opening of the bar completes a wider transformation of The Knole. With the dining rooms, bar, and facilities now all on the same level, the venue is better placed than ever to host Lodge events, celebrations, and private hire — a genuinely improved experience for members and guests alike.

If you are looking for a venue for your next event, The Knole is well worth considering. Do get in touch to find out more about what is now on offer.

Here’s to The Knole — and to a well-earned first drink.
